Our Story

In the Beginning

Priority Projects in its current form was established in 2009 by Director, Steve Brownie after he sold his share in his previous Project Management Company. Steve’s dream and desire was to establish a Design Build and Fit Out company that held his core values of ‘priority service, quality value and results’.

Steve has over 20 years’ experience in the building industry, starting as a builders apprentice at the tender age of 18, and setup his first project management company in 2000.

Our Story

With a vision and desire to be an industry leader in his field Steve has surrounded himself with staff, and contractors that have common goals and focus of what is truly important to be successful in this business, and this is a combination of client satisfaction and enjoying what you do.

We project manage refurbishment and new fit outs of existing commercial buildings, with an emphasis on creating environments where people WANT to work and visit. We get excited about designing and building work spaces that fit our clients’ individual needs completely and seamlessly. We offer a design-build service to create amazing spaces from the intimate interior to the full construction of new buildings from the ground up.  Priority Projects also offers feasibility studies and earthquake repairs from the small to the very large. We pride ourselve on being "On time and On budget" every time.

Although the core of our business is based in Christchurch, we have long-term clients that are based in multiple locations throughout New Zealand and enjoy seeing and creating trends around the country.
